We use the Canon R7 for gimbal work and as a B camera. It is small and compact, but note that is does not have an inbuilt ND filter. (Nor flash).
So to set the exposure on the EOS R7 for video work, if we had an external ND filter attached to the lens...
- Set the ISO to 800
- Set Shutter to 180 deg (or 1/50 shutter speed for 25 frames)
- Set FPS depending on type of shot.
- Set the aperture (F stop) to the desired DOF.
Then manually adjust the external ND filter.
If No ND Filter - we can adjust the ISO to set the exposure.
